// COLLOQUIUM: “THE RISE OF ADAPTATIONS: OLD AND NEW RELATIONS BETWEEN THE AUDIOVISUAL AND PUBLISHING SECTORS”.

Literary adaptations to the different cinematographic and audiovisual screens are becoming more and more common, becoming a worldwide phenomenon, since an audience predisposed to see them can be obtained beforehand. An advantageous starting point with great weight in terms of business and content bets. Likewise, series and films are being produced based on literary works that have managed to sell more books, so there is a very important feedback between the literary and publishing sector and the audiovisual sector.

// CONFERENCE: “HOW TO FACE THE CHALLENGES OF A CHANGING MARKET”.

We are operating in a market that is evolving at different levels. The multiplication of broadcasting windows and channels has the effect of increasing demand for content. Globalization turns the local into glocal, suddenly our content travels to distant countries as never before. At the same time, an accelerated process of consolidation grows some companies and jeopardizes many others. How should we position ourselves in this context, from Spain and the Canary Islands?
Based on current reports on these issues, Peter Andermatt will invite those present to a collective reflection, and will explain how the Creative Europe MEDIA Program supports professionals and companies in their careers.
