SYNOPSIS

Semillas is the story of Zaira, a 12-year-old girl with a big dream, which is to participate in a coleo horse racing festival, just like her late brother Harvey did. However, one day his horse disappears and the reason is that his grandfather decides to sell the horse without telling his granddaughter, as he is suffering from a severe drought in his crops. On a plains sunset, his grandfather tells him the reason why animal figures are formed in the clouds: The sky traps the animals and that is why their figures are reflected in them, and only the day it rains again in the village, they will return to earth. Zaira wishes for the radiant sky to be filled with gray clouds by setting out on a quest for a special seed that will make it rain and bring her horse back.
