Finaliza con gran éxito Canary Islands International Film Market 2024. Una edición muy especial al celebrar su 20 aniversario. Más de 150 profesionales del sector cinematográfico y/o audiovisual participantes. Se han celebrado alrededor de 600 reuniones entre los delegados de los proyectos seleccionados y las empresas receptoras invitadas, para explorar nuevas vías de financiación e inversión y fomentar las coproducciones.
The historical feature film in development by Real Ficção, directed by Joana Brandão and produced by Jacinta Barros and Rui Simões, has won the first prize at the 20th edition of the Canary Islands International Film Market for the best international project and the Blurr Stories Award. “Perro viejo”, by Alejandro Cortés and Clara Santaolaya (Batiak Films), has won three awards: the Cabildo de Tenerife Award, the MAFIZ Award and the Térrea Award for the best European project. “Tourist go home”, by Hugo Santa Cruz, Eduardo Cubillo and Esther Agúndez (La Gaveta Producciones), has won the Focus Canarias Award for the best Canarian project and the Music Library & SFX Award for the best European project.
