CIIF MARKET
CIIF Market grants several prizes for the international promotion of film and audiovisual production, to which the projects participating in this edition choose to promote their projection and promotion abroad.
CIIF MARKET SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE AWARD
Recognition of the audiovisual sector’s international reach. The CIIF Market Award for Best Project will recognise the proposal that stands out for its potential for international reach, its ability to reach new audiences and its contribution to the dissemination of audiovisual content beyond our borders. This award highlights the quality, innovation and international vision of professionals in the sector, as well as their ability to drive projects aimed at growth and a presence in international markets.
TENERIFE COUNCIL AWARD
International exposure for Canarian talent. The Tenerife Island Council Award will recognise the Canarian project with the greatest potential for success on the European stage, granting it a free accreditation to take part in an international film or audiovisual market of its choice. An initiative designed to promote the internationalisation of the Canary Islands’ audiovisual sector, facilitating access to new markets, professionals and opportunities to boost the development of projects originating in the Canary Islands.
MUSIC LIBRARY & SFX AWARD
Music as an essential part of audiovisual creation. The two winning projects – Best European Project and Best Latin American Project – will receive a free flat-rate production licence for the synchronisation of music from the Music Library & SFX catalogues, through its music supervision division, Acorde. The licence will include lifetime, multi-platform broadcasting rights. An opportunity to enhance the soundscape and creative value of each project.
MAFIZ AWARD
Fostering co-production between Europe and Latin America. The MAFIZ Award will recognize one European project and one Latin American project with the greatest potential for co-production, granting two complimentary accreditations per project to participate in MAFIZ 2027—the industry section of the Málaga Festival. This award facilitates connections among professionals, projects, and industries from both regions, creating new opportunities for collaboration and development within independent cinema.
BLURR STORIES AWARD
Bringing stories to life with professional quality. The Blurr Stories Award will recognise one European and one Latin American feature-length film project, which will receive post-production services including Conformado, Online and Delivery, comprising DCP, ProRes HQ master and H.264 master. Technical support designed to facilitate the professional completion of the films and to promote their subsequent international distribution and screening.
VECTOR OF IDEAS AWARD
Music as an essential part of every story. The Vector de Ideas Award will offer specialist advice on music supervision and licensing, including two hours of recording with a solo musician – on an instrument to be agreed upon – and a complimentary licence to use a track from their niche music catalogue. An initiative that celebrates musical creation and sonic identity, with repertoires spanning folk, contemporary and modern classical music.
CINEXIS Award
Best European Project, Best Latin American Project, and Best Canarian Project. Selected projects will be guaranteed a commercial exhibition window upon the film’s completion, as well as strategic guidance and consulting in development, production, financing, and market strategy. The award includes support in identifying and structuring financing, advice on production strategies, and access to CINEXIS’s network of production companies and collaborators, with the potential to explore co-production agreements. Furthermore, selected projects will have access to the CINEXIS artificial intelligence tool for project analysis and enhancement.
Con un Pack International Sales Pack Award
Con Un Pack International Sales Award for Best European Project and Best Latin American Project. Each winning project will receive support and international representation from Con Un Pack International Sales, including its presentation to markets and potential buyers and, where the project’s characteristics and stage allow, the search for pre-sale opportunities that may contribute to its financing. Each prize is valued at €3,000, covering exclusively the costs of international representation, which will be borne by Con Un Pack International Sales.
Pelip Award
Pelip Award for Best Spanish Project and Best Canary Islands Project. Pelip, an AI-powered audiovisual pre-production platform, will award each winning project a six-month subscription to the Producer Plan, which allows users to manage up to five active projects and three users. The subscription will facilitate the pre-production phase through tools for drawing up the breakdown, shooting schedule, ICAA budget, financing plan and dossiers for presenting projects to funding bodies and potential co-producers.
