BLURR STORIES (ARGENTINA)

Fernanda Pérez

Fernanda Pérez began her career in 2013. A graduate of two of Latin America’s most prestigious film schools — the International Film and Television School in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, and the National School of Film Experimentation and Production (ENERC) in Argentina — she has since gone on to become an executive producer. As an executive producer, she has overseen the production of numerous feature films. Her most recent production, El Mensaje, directed by Iván Fund, premiered in the Official Competition at the 75th Berlinale, where it won the Silver Bear – Jury Prize. She founded Blurr Stories, a production company through which she continues to develop and produce auteur cinema.

Patricia Carrera Marín

Paty Carrera has been deeply involved in music supervision, licensing and music consulting for high-profile audiovisual productions that have reached renowned platforms such as Netflix, Amazon, Disney and HBO. She has dedicated her professional life to the exciting world of copyright and related rights, always with the goal of protecting the interests of artists and creators. Her experience is also reflected in the workshops, panels and educational programmes she has developed in several countries. From the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce to Mafiz at the Malaga International Film Festival, Paty has shared her knowledge while keeping an ear to the ground for innovations and trends in the sector. In essence, she combines her vast experience with a practical and contemporary approach, ensuring that her work is always in tune with the current needs of the entertainment world.

Jaime Romero Cerdá

Jaime Romero Cerdá’s professional career has focused on strategic planning and support for business management in both private and public organizations in Catalonia and the Canary Islands. His university education was split between Spain and Ireland, graduating from the University of Barcelona and completing part of his training at Portobello College in Dublin. His professional career has developed between Barcelona and the Canary Islands, participating in business projects in a wide range of sectors and companies. As an independent consultant, he has worked as a project consultant for the Canary Islands Delegation of the American Chamber of Commerce and for The Climate Project Spain. At the American Chamber of Commerce, he became a project manager and consultant, and finally Executive Director of the Canary Islands Chapter. He was the manager of the Canary Islands Cluster of Technological Excellence, the first regional cluster to focus its activities on CID technologies (technology consulting, systems engineering and software development), an advisor to the Gran Canaria Business Circle and a member of the American Chamber of Commerce’s Advisory Council, positions he left to enter the political arena in the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. After the elections, he was appointed Councillor for Employment, Social Welfare and Equality, with responsibility for employment, economic development, SMEs, markets, street vending and consumer affairs. Returning to the private sector, he founded Macaronesia Films, a leading Canary Islands company in audiovisual production services and rental of specialized equipment, with a strong industrial development, supporting film, advertising and television projects.

Peter Stephens

Experienced Business Development Manager with extensive professional experience in content production and the music industry. Professional specialising in strategic planning, sales and management for sustainable growth.
Peter is an experienced project coordinator, his duties include managing collaborations, ML&SFX/Acorde’s participation in events and the development of the AltMusic music catalogue. He works actively with many festivals and also in audiovisual production with AltContent. He is co-producer of the documentary ‘My Way Out’, directed by Izaskun Arandia, to be released in Spain in 2023.

MAFIZ (SPAIN)

Annabelle Aramburu

Annabelle Aramburu, with more than 20 years of experience in the film industry, is currently the coordinator of MAFIZ, the industry area of the Malaga Film Festival. She was coordinator of the INCAA’s documentary project incubator (Argentina) and has participated as a jury member in Bolivia Lab, SANFIC (Chile), Cinemundi (Brazil), Abycine (Spain), among others. She has also served as a jury member for the Junta De Andalucía project grants, for the Uruguayan ICAU and as a jury member for TV series and documentary projects for the INCAA. Among many other projects, she has also co-produced the awarded documentary Chicas nuevas 24 horas, about women trafficking, nominated for Best Documentary Film at the 2016 Goya Awards and at the 2016 Platinum Awards.

BANKINTER (SPAIN)

Luis Piñas
Fernando V. Rodríguez Sanso

Director of Bankinter’s Financial Structuring Team, specialising in the audiovisual sector, with experience in the naval sector (ship tax leases). Holds a Master’s degree in Tax Law from Garrigues and in Structured Finance from IE. Has experience with domestic and international transactions and has signed more than 50 transactions, generating over €100 million in private investment. Responsible for structuring tax incentives, reviewing production and distribution contracts, the chain of title and the success of private investment rounds, together with the entire team.
Fernando Rodríguez is the Director of International Business at Bankinter in the Canary Islands. He holds a degree in Economic Law from the University of Deusto and has 25 years’ experience financing companies in the Canary Islands at Bankinter. His responsibilities include structuring international operations, financing and advising import and export companies, and developing internationalisation plans.
