CLOSURE AND AWARDS CIIF MARKET 2019
As the culmination of the XVI edition of the CIIF Market, this Saturday, October 11, the Awards Ceremony was held at the Strasse Park in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with the journalist Pilar Rumeu again as master of ceremonies.
They were awarded or received recognition:
Special Mention for the literary work: for its possibilities of adaptation to film and/or television and its impact on the sector: En La Línea Azul, by Luis García Rebollo
Music Library & SFX Music Sync Award. Poor Devil by director Guillermo Polo, An Original Script By David Pascual and Guillermo Polo. Produced by the Polo Brothers and Japónica Films.
Macaronesia Films Award for financial and legal advice. Time of Silence, by the director Fernando González Gómez, and the creator Vasileios Papatheocaris. Produced by La Dalia Films.
Filmarket Hub Award for the most innovative project. La Indiana, by the Author and Screenwriter Jorge Hernández Pérez
Canary Islands Film Award for the best Focus Canarias project . Vampire Holocaust (Voodoo Apocalypse 2) From Director Vasni J. Ramos A Original script by José J Ramallo, Sergio G. Ramos and Vasni J. Ramos. produced By The Invisible Man Films.
Finally, there were three finalists to the CIIF Market Santa Cruz de Tenerife Award for the largest project international projection :
The Preacher, by director and screenwriter Facundo Escudero Salinas, from Pennsylvania Films. Argentina.
Las Mil Vidas , by the director and screenwriter Marina Seresesky, from Meridional Producciones. Spain
Poor Devil, by director Guillermo Polo, an original script by David Pascual and Guillermo Polo. Produced by the Polo brothers and Japonica Films. Spain
The prize, which consisted of a €1,200 ball to go to a film market of their choice, was awarded to the project, Las Mil Vidas , by the director and screenwriter Marina Seresesky , together with Meridional Producciones .
