SECUOYA STUDIOS, NEW PARTNER OF THE XVII EDITION OF CIIF MARKET

In the XVII edition of the Canary Islands International Film Market, which will take place from April 28 to 30 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, producers, distributors, sales agents, television channels and other professionals from the sector will meet (in person and online). to promote the co-production of cinematographic and audiovisual projects for the European and international markets.

Secuoya Studios joins CIIF Market as an analyst of the projects that will be selected in this edition, together with other important recipients in search of new talent and creativity to produce quality content, among which are Atresmedia Cine, Latido Films or Filmax.

The call for registration of projects and literary works is open until March 15.

Sequoia Studios, the great factory promoted by Grupo Secuoya for fiction, unscripted and film content in Spanish for platforms, producers, operators and broadcasters in the United States, Latin America and Spain, joins as a collaborator in the XVII edition of CIIF Market, which will be held in hybrid format from April 28 to 30 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

In this way, Secuoya Studios will become a recipient and analyst of the projects that participate in the Canary Islands International Film Market 2021 , whose call is currently open until March 15.

We remind you that unpublished European and international projects of fiction or documentary feature films, TV movies and television series (fiction or documentary) in the development phase can be submitted for the search for financing, it being necessary for the project to have secured 20% of the total budget. .

The call is also open to the participation of Spanish literary works, fiction and non-fiction (novel, short story, play, essay, etc.), of all genres and subgenres (drama, comedy, etc.) and aimed at all types of public (children, youth, adults).

CIIF Market 2021 will select up to a maximum of 12 audiovisual projects and 3 literary works, taking into account quality criteria, international projection, talent of the producers, directors and viability of the financing plan.

In the case of Spanish literary compositions, the quality of the works, the talent of the authors and the feasibility of being adapted to film, television or digital platforms will also be taken into account.
