The call to attend the XVI edition of CIIF MARKET (Canary Islands International Film Market), which will take place from October 8 to 12 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, has had a great reception.

More than 80 cinematographic and audiovisual projects have been received in the development phase for the search for funding (feature films, documentaries and television series), from fifteen countries, among which stand out for the number of entries received, in addition from Spain, countries like Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Italy, Mexico, Peru and Turkey.

As for the Canary literary works, which may participate for the first time in the networking activities of CIIF Market to work on their possible adaptation to the different screens, the number of applications to access the market has been 25, which include content from different genres and aimed at all types of audiences.
